Ryan International School, Patiala

The school hosted its 17th Annual Sports Meet for students of classes III to XII. The event was graced by guests of honour Jagjit Singh, Chief Athletic Coach, Sports University, Patiala, and Prof Jagdev Singh, Retired HOD, Physical Education Department, Mohindra College, Patiala. Principal Pooja Sharma declared the Sports Meet open. The dignitaries along with the principal released balloons in the air and reviewed the Guard of Honour presented by the School Cabinet leaders, followed by contingents from the four houses. The playground was transformed into a vibrant and lively arena with a host of events, including captivating aerobics, synchronised drill displays, and various fun races, such as the balloon race, chair race, hurdle race, relay race, and sprints. Arshdeep Singh (Class XII-C) and Eshavdeep Kaur (Class XI-C) were announced as the Best Athlete Boy and Best Athlete Girl, respectively. Isaac Newton House emerged as the Champion House, followed closely by Aryabhatta House as the first runner-up and Albert Einstein House as the second runner-up.
