A sense of exuberance filled the atmosphere as the school celebrated its 17th Montessori Graduation-cum-Annual Day, marking a significant step forward in the educational journey of Ryanites. The ceremony adopted the theme, ‘Building a better future’, for this year. Distinguished guests, including Davinder Singh (retired Assistant Commissioner, Ministry of HRD, Delhi), Phulel Singh (international athlete and DSP, Punjab Police), Shahnaz Jolly Kaura (Head of the programme, Akashvani, Patiala), Shaminder Kaur (wife of Gurlal Singh, MLA, Ghanour), Jasbir Singh Pannu (international bhangra artiste and coach), and Jagjeet Singh Khaloan (international athletic coach) attended the event. The School Council, along with Principal Pooja Sharma, extended a warm welcome to the guests. The young participants substantiated the warmth through captivating thematic dances portraying the cultural diversity of India. The tiny tots captivated all attendees, leaving them spellbound with their dance performances, along with a performance focused on environmental conservation with a “Save Earth” theme. A fun and educational musical play, “Hats Off”, took the audience on a tour through the changing seasons of the year. Through the play, students depicted the message that by facing the challenges, one can contribute to a bright future. The Montessori students delivered a well-coordinated and energetic orchestral performance that captured the hearts of the audience. The highly anticipated events included the Montessori Graduation Ceremony, Ryan Achiever Awards Distribution for Montessori to Class II, and the Prince-Princess Awards. Parents were moved as students, clad in convocation gowns and caps, reached their first academic milestone, receiving the ‘Scrolls of Merit’ from guests. The prize distribution ceremony honoured students excelling in 14 categories, with awards presented by the guests of honour. The show concluded by embracing the theme, ‘Building a better future’, thereby urging individuals to undertake endeavours that foster a future characterised by positivity, sustainability, and prosperity. The guests of honour and Principal Pooja Sharma commended the dedication shown by all participants and extended congratulations to the award winners along with their delighted parents.
