Ryan International School, Patiala, hosts seminar on sexual harassment

The school recently demonstrated its deep commitment to student safety and empowerment by hosting a profound and timely seminar titled "Unmute Yourself: Raising Awareness on Sexual Harassment, Boundaries, Consent & Digital Responsibility." Spearheaded by Dr Sonam Dullat, Head of the Counselling Cell at Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, and her dedicated team, the seminar broke barriers and sparked conversations that often remain unspoken in school corridors. Through empathetic guidance and powerful storytelling, Dr Dullat encouraged students to reflect, ask questions, and most importantly-speak up. The sessions were divided for students from classes VI to VIII and classes IX to XII, ensuring the conversations remained age-appropriate, relatable and deeply impactful.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
