Ryan International School, Patiala, students on educational tour to USA
Ten enthusiastic students from the school joined a group of 40 Ryanites from various branches and landed in the USA to begin their much-anticipated educational tour, including a visit to NASA. The programme commenced with a visit to the Kennedy Space Center, Orlando, where students embarked on an educational tour of the renowned space centre, providing them with an in-depth look at space exploration. Next, the students enjoyed a day filled with fun and learning at Disney, where they were provided with base tickets. The adventure continued at Universal Studios, which allowed the students to experience the magic of movies and thrilling rides, adding a layer of entertainment to their educational journey. Following their adventures in Orlando, the students flew to Washington, DC, where they visited the Smithsonian Museum and enjoyed a city tour. The journey then continued with a road trip to New York City. Here, the students benefited from a guided city tour, including a visit to the 86th floor of the Empire State Building, offering breath-taking views of the city and a unique perspective on urban development. Additionally, they experienced the vibrant atmosphere of Times Square, which enhanced their understanding of urban culture and commerce. The educational value of the trip was further emphasised with a visit to the Seeds of Peace (SOP) Office, an International NGO focused on conflict resolution. This visit aimed to inspire students with the values of peace and global understanding, teaching them the importance of diplomacy and conflict resolution in today’s world.
