Students of Ryan International School, Chandigarh, participated in a plantation drive carried out on the school campus and its surrounding areas such as Dera Bassi and sectors 48-A, 48-B, and 50-A. Organised in partnership with resident welfare associations (RWAs), the Municipal Corporation, Mohali, and local environmental organisations, the initiative was aimed to fostering greater ecological consciousness. To promote the use of medicinal plants, ashwagandha saplings were distributed to students for plantation at home. In addition, students actively participated by planting nearly 250 fruit-bearing and medicinal trees, across the identified community zones. As part of the ongoing "Go Green with Ryan" campaign, the drive reinforced the school's dedication to sustainability and meaningful community involvement.
