Teacher’s Day was celebrated in the school. The programme started with the lighting of the lamp by the Principal and a bouquet was presented to her. Children expressed their feelings through dance, songs and music. Principal Dr Renu Gahlawat congratulated all teachers on Teacher’s Day, explaining the importance of the day.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
