Grandparents Day was celebrated in the school auditorium. Kindergartens performed various acts, depicting how their grandparents’ gentle hands and caring hearts can guide them. Cards were presented to all guest grandparents by their grandchildren. Songs filled with unwavering passion were sung and the captivating poem sung by a munchkin envisioned unconditional love of grandparents. Principal Dr Renu Gahlawat lauded students for such spectacular way of showcasing the importance of grandparents.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
