The Christmas function was celebrated at the school. The event began with a warm welcome, setting a festive tone for the day. The highlight of the celebration was the beautifully enacted ‘Nativity’ play, which brought to life the story of the birth of Jesus Christ. The students performed with dedication, conveying the spirit of love, hope, and peace. A series of dance performances filled the atmosphere with energy and excitement. The event concluded with an inspiring Christmas message by Father Powlish, who emphasised the importance of kindness, compassion, and togetherness during the festive season and beyond. The celebration ended with warm wishes exchanged, marking the day as a memorable occasion for all. It was a wonderful reminder of the true spirit of Christmas.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
