Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh, has secured the first place in the Inter-School Band Competition. With the resonant theme “Salute to Freedom Fighters and Nasha Mukt Bharat”, the band delivered a stirring performance that blended musical precision with a powerful social message. The band was led by Captain Kultaran Kaur and Vice-Captain Diara Paul, whose leadership inspired the team to push boundaries and showcase the very best of Sacred Heart’s talent. The ensemble featured gifted students from classes VI to XII, demonstrating the school’s ability to unite young minds and hearts in pursuit of a shared cause. Principal Rev Sr Venita Joseph congratulated the team, stating, “Our students have not only proven their musical talent but also shown their commitment to honouring India’s heroes and promoting a drug-free nation.
