The school in collaboration with the Blood Transfusion Department of the PGI, Chandigarh, and sponsored by the Vishwas Foundation organised a blood donation camp on its premises. The camp was inaugurated with singing of hymns by the school choir followed by the customary lighting of the lamp by Principal Sr Venita Joseph, Sr Alvina, Sr Anupa, Coordinator, Senior Wing, Sapna Maini, Coordinator, Junior Wing, Kritika Sood, Sadhvi Neelima Vishwa from Vishwas Foundation, Dr Sangeeta and Dr Anita from the Blood Transfusion Department, PGI, and representatives of parents’ body. The camp was conducted under the supervision of Medical Officer from the PGI Dr Sangeeta and Sadhvi Neelima Vishwa from the Vishwas Foundation. Rev Sr Venita honoured them with tokens of gratitude and congratulated all volunteers for the noble act. Parents and their acquaintances came forward to support the school in this mission and donated more than 115 units of blood.
