An inter-house cross country race was conducted at the school in the wee hours. Officiating Principal Sqn Ldr Manpreet Singh was the chief guest. He along with the Adm Officer Soniya Sharma flagged off the race motivating and encouraging the participants to run carefully along the earmarked routes. A total of 519 students (482 boys and 37 girls) participated in the race. The girls ran a distance of 3 km with the cadets of Holding House. In the girls’ category, Lavanya stood first, Aanandita stood second and Vanya stood third. The junior houses were the first to start the race and they covered a distance of 5 km. Sumit stood first. The winner in the junior houses was the Chillianwala House, followed by Kurukshetra House in the second place, Panipat in the third and Thaneshwar in the fourth position. In the holding houses, Shakargarh House won the championship. Chhamb House was the runners-up. Senior houses covered a distance of 7 km. In the senior houses, cadet Krish of Panipat House stood first. The trophy in the senior houses was lifted by Chillianwala House, Kurukshetra was the runners-up, Thaneshwar house secured the third position and Panipat house the fourth.
