Saint Soldier International School, Sector 28, Chandigarh, celebrated Children’s Day with great joy, enthusiasm and heartfelt appreciation for its young learners. The morning assembly, specially conducted by the teachers, was dedicated to honour the innocence, creativity and vibrant spirit of childhood. The event began with a warm welcome to the chief guest and school adviser, Vijaya Sidhu. Principal Anisha Ghuman, along with all coordinators and teachers, also graced the celebration. The assembly began with teachers Jasleen and Sharda presenting the word and thought for the day, setting a positive tone for the celebration. Social science teacher Sheron then updated the students with important news, ensuring a blend of information and awareness. A heartfelt and beautifully recited poem by the Hindi teacher Neerja added emotion to the occasion, celebrating the joys and innocence of childhood. To elevate the festive spirit, the teachers presented a lively musical performance, filling the atmosphere with enthusiasm and applause. This was followed by a folk dance by the teachers and a soulful solo song performance by the music teacher Shani. The celebration ended on a patriotic note with the National Anthem. The Principal praised the teachers and students for their lively interaction and participation.
