The school have played an active role in the ongoing Road Safety Month campaign organised by a newspaper publication in collaboration with the Chandigarh Traffic Police and Indian Oil. The initiative aims to promote road safety awareness and to encourage responsible driving practices, addressing the growing concerns over road accidents and traffic violations in the city. As part of the campaign, students from the school actively participated in awareness activities at key locations across Chandigarh, including Hallo Majra, Matka Chowk, Transport Light Point, and Piccadily Chowk. At these locations, the students displayed colourful banners and posters carrying impactful messages on road safety. Their enthusiasm and creativity attracted public attention, helping to spread the message of adhering to traffic rules and driving responsibly. In addition to these activities, students were taken to the Traffic Park, where they were educated about various traffic rules and regulations through engaging demonstrations and practical sessions conducted by experts. Key functionaries who played a lead role in making the campaign a success, include Sumer Pratap Singh, SSP, Chandigarh Traffic Police; Parvesh, Inspector, Traffic; and Rajeev Kumar, Divisional Retail Sales Head, Indian Oil. Their efforts in driving the mission of safer roads forward were actively supported by the school.
