Students of the school showcased their exceptional talents and achieved remarkable success at the inter-school events held at Manav Rachna International School, Mohali. Class I students Maira, Prabhgun, Aman, Ayaan and Shivjot won the first prize in the Indian Folk Dance Competition with a vibrant Punjabi folk dance. In the Sustainable Dress Design category, Drishti and Kanak from Class XII and Mannat from Class XI received a special mention prize. Nitya from Class III secured the third position in the Fireless Cooking Competition, themed ‘Celebration of Millets’. Gurbani and Aayushi from Class V also received a special mention prize for their creativity in the Pot Painting event. Principal Anisha Ghuman appreciated the teachers and students for their achievements.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
