The school hosted a one-day CBSE Capacity Building Programme on ‘Happy Classrooms’. The workshop aimed at empowering educators with strategies to foster a positive, engaging and joyful learning environment in classrooms. Valuable insights for the event were presented by two distinguished resource persons Sneh Bansal, Assistant Professor at DEGSN, NCERT, New Delhi and Jyothi N Belavadi, HOD, Science Department, St Joseph’s School. Bansal provided key perspectives on addressing diverse student needs with empathy and inclusivity, emphasising the importance of emotional well-being and the role of teachers in creating a nurturing atmosphere for holistic development. Belavadi shared her extensive experience in implementing innovative teaching techniques like project-based learning, gamification, classroom technology, etc, that enhance students’ happiness and engagement. Principal Anisha Ghuman expressed her gratitude to the resource persons.
