The school observed May Day through a special assembly organised by the NSS Wing and conducted by the students of classes XI and XII. The event was a tribute to the relentless efforts and invaluable contributions of the school support staff. The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, by school Director Jagwinder Pal Singh Hayer, Adviser Vijaya Sidhu, Principal Anisha Ghuman and Shamsher Singh, senior member of the support staff, symbolising unity and inclusion. The support staff was presented with tokens of appreciation, acknowledging their dedication and the vital role they play in the smooth functioning of the school. Setting the tone for the assembly, Anshika and Bani Tarar of Class XII (Science) presented the Word of the Day and Thought of the Day, respectively. Chirag and Aarna of Class XII shed light on the history and relevance of Labour Day, which was followed by a news bulletin presented by Ishnoor Kaur. A powerful skit performed by Class XI students emphasised that no profession is inferior and every individual deserves dignity and respect. This was followed by a heartfelt group song, titled ‘Hamara Salaam Aapko’, expressing gratitude toward the support staff. The celebration continued with a vibrant group dance performance by the students, capturing the spirit of unity, appreciation, and joy. The event concluded with the singing of the national anthem.
