Saiyam Choudhary, a student of Class XII-D of Shishu Niketan Model Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh, secured a bronze medal in the 50kg weight category at the Taipei Cadet Asian Cup 2025 in Taiwan. Saiyam's exceptional skill and determination earned him this prestigious honour. His outstanding performance has led to his selection to represent India at the OTP World Championship Cadet 2025 in Sophia, Bulgaria.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
