Salute to corona warriors in our homes

Never say that a woman is a weaker gender when you cannot compete with her emotional strength. In this lockdown phase women are undergoing so much of anxiety as they are worried about the health and well-being of their family, but they are still showing the world around that nothing is wrong. A woman answers the question of her child, “Mom, when will this lockdown be over?” With a smile she says, “Just a few more days and everything will be back to normal, we will go to the park and you will play with your friends.”
The lockdown has brought everything to a standstill. The sky seems clear, trees look green, air smells fresh and streets look clean, but has it brought to a halt a woman’s daily race, the deadline to complete all chores on time.
At present women are hopping from the role of homemaker to a professional, who needs to meet deadlines. Everyone knows she is a multitasker, she sautés vegetables and simultaneously prepares slides for her presentation to be presented after half an hour.
I would like to urge everyone to be considerate to the present-day woman, appreciate her, acknowledge her efforts for being a conscientious mother, caring wife, a loving daughter and a diligent employee. Support her in these tough times as she is supporting you.
