Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Sen Sec Public School, Dhanora-Ladwa

The school organised an Inter-School Chess Championship on its premises. The championship was held for different categories, including under-14, under-16, under-19 boys and girls separately. Teams from six esteemed nearby schools — Sanjay Gandhi Public School, Ladwa, Sugni Devi School, Ladwa, Om Prakash Garg Memorial School, Ladwa, Globe Heritage School, Radaur, Rational World School, Radaur, and Hindu High School, Ladwa — participated in this championship. Team of Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Sen Sec Public School, Dhanora-Ladwa, won the first prize, Globe Heritage School and Rational World School, Radaur, jointly bagged the second prize and Sugni Devi School, Ladwa, bagged the third prize. In individual events, Saransh of Hindu High School got the first position in the under-14 boys’ category. Manvi of Sanjay Gandhi Public School got the first position in under-14 girls. In under-16 girl’s category, Madhavi of Sanjay Gandhi Public School got the first position and in boys’ category, Kapil of Globe Heritage Public School bagged the first position. In the under-19 boy’s category, Anup, and in girl’s category, Anjani, both of Sanjay Gandhi Public School, bagged the first position.
