‘Diwali Mahotsav’ was organised on the campus of the school. School secretary Ravinder Bansal was the chief guest and inaugurated the festival in the presence of Principal Dherminder Khera, Vice-Principal Narender Sharma along with other teachers. The students enthralled everyone with their scintillating performances of various cultural programmes. Students presented short skits based on the Ramayana. The students skilfully staged Balkand, Purushottam Ram’s childhood, education, Sita Swayamvar, Ram Van Gaman, Sita’s abduction, Sugriva-Hanuman meeting, Lanka Dahan, Killing of Ravana, Kumbhkaran and Meghnad, Ram’s arrival in Ayodhya, Deepotsav and Ram’s coronation. The performances filled everyone’s heart with devotion and religious sentiments. Rangoli and card-making competitions were also organised on the occasion. President of the School Management Pawan Garg, while sending best wishes for all the festivals, said everyone should celebrate Diwali in a traditional and cordial manner.
