A ‘hawan’ was performed by Acharya Naresh Kaushik and associates to commemorate 46th Foundation Day of the school and 75th birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Tehsildar Navaml Dhani was the chief guest and school president Pawan Garg presided over the ceremony. School secretary Ravinder Bansal, member Tejpal Mathana, Rakesh Goyal, Harpreet Cheema, Principal of IGN College Kushal Pal, Principal Narender Sharma, Principal, SGOPGMPS, Sujra, Suresh Saini, Subhash Sehgal, Rajkumar Saini, Shamsher Singh Ban, Jagmal Singh and school-staff participated in the ‘hawan’. A sacred ‘Triveni’ was planted by the chief guest and dignitaries. Acharya Naresh Kaushik, especially prayed for the progress of the school and for good health of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He showered his blessings upon Pawan Garg and congratulated him on his birthday. Pawan Garg said the idea of the school was first conceived by Late Om Parkash Garg, the then MLC, MLA, Thanesar, and was founded on the land donated by the people of Dhanora by Chaudhary Dalbir Singh the then State Minister of Petroleum and Chemicals on September 17, 1980. Principal Narender Sharma expressed his gratitude towards the chief guest, president of the school, secretary and other dignitaries for their graceful presence on the occasion and thanked them for their guidance and motivation.
