Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Senior Secondary School, Dhanora-Ladwa, organises calligraphy, creative writing competitions
The English Department of the school organised calligraphy and creative writing competitions for classes VI to VIII and IX to X, respectively. The students of Class IX and X poured out their emotions, thought process and creativity by writing poems, articles, short stories, paragraphs and diary entries. The students of Class VI to VIII wrote pages in beautiful writing. The aim of the competition was to enhance the writing and creative skills of the students and make them competitive. Vedika and Pridhi from Class VI-A, Ruhi and Veera from Class VI-B, Aardhya and Alisha from Class VI-C, Karamjeet and Ekroop from Class VII-A, Yashvi and Ridham from Class VII-B, Nikunj and Pihu from Class VII-C, Komal and Kriti from Class VIII-A, Khyati and Manika from Class VIII-B, Sanoi and Jasnoor from Class VIII-C were adjudged as the best calligrapher in English. Anushka and Shreya from Class IX-A, Pranjal and Navdeep from Class IX-B, Shreya and Pratham from Class IX-C, Dev and Lagan from Class X-A, Abhinav and Shubhneet Kaur from Class X-B, and Tushar and Arpit Mittal from Class X-C were adjudged best creative writers. Principal Narender Sharma appreciated the efforts of the teachers and students and said that it is imperative to make the students creative and competitive to cope up with the challenges of the modern and real competitive world. Rajbir Sharma, Poonam Sharma, Kavita Laller, Monika Jindal, Geeta Kamboj, Ravinder Vir Gupta, Naveen Garg, Munish Saini, Rohit Seth, Anjana Singhal, Karmo Saini, Saloni, and Kavita Saini perfectly coordinated in the smooth conduct of the competition.
