Sanskrit assembly organised at Aryakulam, Nilokheri

A Class IX student, Kena, has been assigned the duty to organise morning assemblies this week. In this series, a Sanskrit assembly was organised. The programme commenced with the chanting of Vedic mantras and invoking the supreme power by singing a prayer, followed by students presenting the thought of the day, news reading, etc. The students also organised a “Dolphin Conservation Mass Awareness Programme” under the guidance of the CBSE and the National Museum of Natural History, New Delhi. A pledge was administered on the occasion to save the environment and marine life under “Project Dolphin”. Besides, a quiz was organised and winners were given prizes. A documentary, “Our Dolphin - Our Heritage”, was screened as well. HOD (Sanskrit) Sanjay Shastri sensitised the students to the project. Principal, Dinesh Kumar, congratulated the Department of Sanskrit and Aryakulam’s Eco Club for the informative and influential programme. The event concluded with the singing of the national song, “Vande Mataram”, enhancing the spirit of the Sanskrit assembly.
