Sanskriti KMV School, Jalandhar, celebrated the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri, alongside Dasehra, through a series of vibrant and value-based activities. Students dressed as the two national leaders and performed role plays highlighting their life journeys and contributions. Activities such as slogan writing, paragraph writing, and role enactments focused on Gandhiji's principles of truth and simplicity. The enactment of Gandhiji's three monkeys conveyed timeless values of honesty and moral discipline. A documentary on the lives and legacies of both leaders was screened. Students symbolically depicted the ten heads of Ravana as negative traits and shared messages on overcoming them through righteousness. A theatrical presentation of 'Sita Haran' further enriched the cultural essence of the event, reinforcing the message of good triumphing over evil. The principal, Racine Monga, urged students to embrace the teachings of Gandhiji and Shastri Ji in their daily lives. She emphasised their humility, character and unwavering dedication to the nation, and reminded everyone that Dasehra symbolises the eternal victory of virtue over vice.
