The university collaborated with IBM Innovation Centre for Education by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU). The MoU was signed by the Registrar for Sant Baba Bhag Singh University and Ranjeet Singh, Principal for Sant Baba Bhag Singh International School, along with Trans Neuron Technologies Pvt Ltd CEO Shivam Sharma. Dr Mani Madhukar, Programme Lead, IBM Innovation Centre for Education, and Sarabjit Singh, GM, Partnership and Customer Growth, Trans Neuron Technologies Pvt Ltd were also there during the signing of the agreement. The signing ceremony of the MoU was held in the presence of Chancellor of the university Sant Baba Manmohan Singh, secretary, Sant Baba Bhag Singh Memorial Charitable Society, Hardaman Singh Minhas, Vice-Chancellor of the university Prof (Dr) Dharmjit Singh Parmar, legal adviser, Sunil Vats, Registrar, Dr Vikas Sharma, Dean Academics and SPOC, Dr Vijay Dhir, Principal, SBBSIS, Ranjeet Singh, Principal, SBBSIN, Dr Manju Chawla and Deans/Deputy Deans of various Institutes of Sant Baba Bhag Singh University. The in-depth curriculum powered by IBM will be exclusively available to the students at SBBS University. The new progression is in line with the NEP 2020 norms, promoting the project and lab-based learning combined with instructor-led classroom training.
