Sant Ishar Singh Ji Memorial Public School, Karamsar, Rara Sahib

The school hosted the Zonal Sports Prize Distribution Ceremony. The event recognised the outstanding achievements of students who excelled in various sports competitions. The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome from Principal Dr Dhiraj Kumar Thapliyal, who emphasised the importance of sports in holistic education. Chief guest Dimple Madan, District Education Officer (Senior Secondary), Ludhiana, highlighted the value of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance. Athletes from different schools in the zone were honoured for their dedication and hard work. Medals, trophies, and certificates were awarded to the winners. During the ceremony, the players of Sant Ishar Singh Ji Memorial Public School, Karamsar, Rara Sahib, were also honoured. In the Zonal Tournament Volleyball Under-14, Under-17 and Under-19 boys and girls team secured first, second and third positions, respectively, under the guidance of Narinder Singh. In this tournament, boys and girls of football U-14, U-17 and U-19 categories won the first and second place under the leadership of coach Gurmeet Kaur. Maninderjit Singh Benipal, a member of the school management committee, congratulated the winning teams.
