The school celebrated its Annual Sports Day 2024-25 with great zeal over two days. The event began with a warm welcome of the chief guest, Chairman Ravi Dutt Sharma, and Director Dr Ruby Sharma, by Principal Suman Sharma. The torch ceremony and a grand march past by the four houses marked the opening, followed by the chairman declaring the sports meet open. Performances like ‘Ganesh Vandana’, ‘Welcome Dance’, ‘Shabad’, and ‘Jungle Dance’, along with thrilling track events such as races, hurdle race, relay race, and Pom-Pom Run Race, kept the audience engaged. Parents participated in fun games on both days. The gidda and bhangra performances were enjoyed the most. The celebration concluded with the prize distribution ceremony, where students were honoured with certificates, medals, and trophies for their achievements.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
