Satluj World School, Derabassi, celebrated its annual function “Renaissance – Sanskar to Science”. The evening unfolded with a series of beautifully curated performances that reflected India’s deep-rooted culture, values, and progressive vision. The function was decorated with a powerful presentation on Punj Pyare, showcasing the traditional martial art ‘gatka’. A touching play on “Bhagwan – The Value of Parents” highlighted the significance of respecting and honouring one’s parents. The stage then lit up with divine energy as students performed an enchanting ‘Krishna Raas Leela’, depicting the joyous and divine moments of Lord Krishna’s life. To instil social responsibility among students, a creative ‘Civics Sense Play’ was staged, encouraging awareness about cleanliness, discipline, and responsible citizenship. Another major highlight of the evening was the dramatic presentation of “Ravan ke Uthan aur Patan ki Kahani”, symbolising the eternal victory of truth over ego and evil. The grand finale, a spellbinding performance of ‘Shiv Tandav’, captured the audience with its intensity, expressions, and rhythmic perfection. Director, Dr Ruby Sharma, expressed her heartfelt appreciation for the entire team for their relentless efforts in bringing such high-quality performances to the stage. Chairman Ravi Dutt Sharma, congratulated the students for their brilliant display of talent and emphasised that such events play a pivotal role in nurturing confidence, discipline, and cultural understanding among learners.
