Saupin’s School, Chandigarh

The school organised its annual 14th RF Saupin Memorial Football Tournament. As many as 14 schools (Boys U-13 and Girls U-15) from Chandigarh and Mohali participated in the tournament. On Day 1 results, in the boys’ category, Saupin’s-32 defeated Kids ‘R’ Kids by 1-0; St Xavier’s-44 beat GHS, RC 1, Dhanas, by 3-0; Bhavan Vidyalaya-33 defeated Amity International School by 3-0; and Vivek High-38 took the lead against M.DAV-22 by 8-1. In the girls catergory, Kids ‘R’ Kids won the match against Sacred Heart-26 by 4-3; and GHS, R-1, Dhanas, beat Carmel Convent by 3-2. On Day 2, the 1st semifinal boys’ match was played between Saupin’s-32 and Bhavan Vidyalaya, in which Saupin’s-32 won by 1-0. The second semifinal boys’ match was played between St Xavier’s-44 and Vivek High-38. Vivek High-38 took the lead with a score of 3-2. Saupin’s-32 won with a score of 1-0 in the girls’ first semifinal against Kids ‘R’ Kids. In the girls’ second semifinal between Vivek High-38 and Govt High School, RC 1, Dhanas, GHS RC 1 Dhanas won by 1-0.
