The school was brimming with joy and cultural vibrancy as it celebrated the joyous festival of Baisakhi with great enthusiasm and fervour. The pre-primary students arrived dressed in traditional Punjabi attire, adding charm and cheer to the celebration. Carrying along their party tiffin, the little ones participated in a creative kite-making activity, filling their art files with colourful creations. As a special takeaway, each child received a traditional Punjabi ‘pankhi’, symbolising the essence of Punjab’s rich heritage. The highlight of the day was an Inter-House Bhangra Competition, where students showcased energetic performances that echoed the cultural heartbeat of Punjab. The school premises were beautifully decorated with Baisakhi-themed decor, reflecting the vibrant and joyous mood of the harvest festival. Principal Dr Raminder Pal Kaur addressed the students, highlighting the significance of Baisakhi as not just a harvest festival but also a celebration of community, tradition, and gratitude.
