The school’s alumnus Ramandeep Singh (Batch 2012-2013) has been selected for a T20 series against South Africa. He plays for Punjab in domestic cricket and has been retained by the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League. He is currently on a tour to South Africa. He has earned fame as a prolific batsman and great hitter as well.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
