SBR DAV Public School, Talwandi Bhai, commemorated the 350th martyrdom day of Guru Tegh Bahadur with deep devotion and reverence. The programme aimed to inspire students with the supreme sacrifice and universal message of courage, humanity and freedom embodied by the ninth Sikh Guru. The event began with soulful Shabad recitation, creating a spiritual atmosphere and invoking divine blessings. Teachers and students presented speeches, thoughts and explanations of Gurbani, helping everyone understand the historical significance and teachings of Guru Tegh Bahadur in a meaningful way. To encourage active learning, the school organised a quiz competition based on the life, principles and martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur. Students participated enthusiastically and showcased impressive knowledge and respect for the legacy of the Guru. School chairman Amrit Lal Chhabra and Principal Jaswinder Kaur conveyed their heartfelt blessings, appreciating the efforts of the staff and students.
