Lohri was celebrated in the school. The day began with the lighting of the bonfire. Offerings were made to the fire, as the radiant atmosphere set the tone for a peaceful and prosperous year ahead. Shivram’s captivating bhangra performance filled the air with energy, perfectly capturing the essence of Punjab’s vibrant culture and tradition. The girls, too, added to the festive spirit with a lively gidda performance, which further enhanced the atmosphere, making it both energetic and intriguing for everyone present. Students took the stage with speeches in both Hindi and Punjabi, shedding light on the significance of Lohri, its legends, and the mysteries surrounding it, including the traditions of Lohri.
