School launches alumni lecture series

DAV Public School, Patiala, launched its Alumni Lecture Series – Prerna. The event featured distinguished alumni who have made significant contributions in their respective fields. The keynote speaker, Sanpreet Singh Arora (alumnus, 2003 batch), currently serving as Assistant Professor at Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College, Shri Fatehgarh Sahib, delivered a powerful talk on “Career Options After Class XII – Navigating Career Paths in a Changing World”. His session focused on critical areas such as goal setting, skill enhancement, embracing failure, and adapting to the ever-evolving demands of the global job market. Adding further value to the series, Baldev Krishan Garg (2014 batch), an audit professional at Ernst & Young Pvt Ltd, Gurugram, delivered an insightful talk on pursuing ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) alongside a commerce degree after Class XII. The sessions concluded with an interactive Q&A, where students eagerly posed questions on topics like academic planning, internships, employability skills, and entrepreneurship.
