Kindergarten students participated in an athletic meet, ‘Run for fun’. The celebration of sportsmanship, fun and camaraderie, showcasing the young talent of the school, continued for three consecutive days. The ceremony kicked off with a grand flag hoisting, followed by a special oath-taking ceremony, led by the principal and headmistress. Colourful balloons were released into the sky. In the centre of the field, a ceremonial flame was lit, marking the start of theathletic events. The students eagerly participated in pair race, train race, boat race, caterpillar race and many more. Teachers also engaged in a few races, showcasing their own athletic skills. The event concluded with a closing ceremony, where medals were given to the winners.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
