The school in the past week came alive with the vibrant colours and joyous spirit of the Navratri as students and staff participated in a series of celebrations dedicated to the festival. The festivities began with the assembly where the significance of Navratri and Vijayadashami was explained. Tiny-tots represented the nine forms of Goddess Durga. Kanya pujan was done by the Principal and the Headmistress. Dandiya Raas was presented by the teachers. Pupils of Class V came together for a spectacular event featuring a dramatic enactment of Ramayana. Throughout the week children were engaged in various activities, including puppet-making competition. The young creators designed puppets of Lord Rama, Sita, Ravana and more.
