SD Sr Sec School, Sector 24/C, Chandigarh, celebrated Vanmahotsav, an annual tree-planting festival, with the theme "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam," emphasising the connection between nature and gratitude towards mothers. Over 70 saplings of indigenous species, including Gulmohar, Jamun and Amaltas, were planted by the managing committee, staff, parents and students. The event also featured a green pledge, where students took an oath to nurture the earth.
