SD Sr Sec School, Chandigarh, celebrated Diwali. The school premises were beautifully adorned with diyas, rangolis, and colourful lights, creating a festive atmosphere. A week-long celebration commenced with a special assembly, followed by a pledge and rally, highlighting the importance of "Green Diwali Harit Diwali." Students participated in various activities, including diya decoration, lantern making and rangoli making competitions. Principal Dr Nisha Gupta addressed the gathering, encouraging students to celebrate a clean and eco-friendly Diwali by avoiding crackers and spreading happiness instead. The celebration concluded on a cheerful note, with wishes and gifts for the school staff, promoting a sense of gratitude and camaraderie.
