Shishu Niketan Public School, Behlolpur, organised a thought-provoking seminar on "Distractions faced by students" to create awareness among students about the various distractions affecting their academic focus and productivity. The session, graced by Amanjit Kaur and senior faculty members, discussed the impact of mobile phones, social media, peer pressure and academic stress on students' lives. Through real-life scenarios, interactive discussions and group activities, students learned to identify their distractions and strategies to overcome them. The speaker emphasised the importance of time management, self-discipline and digital detox in maintaining concentration and achieving academic success. Students actively participated in the Q&A session, sharing their experiences and making the seminar engaging and relatable. Principal Cdr Roopak Chadha appreciated the initiative, encouraging students to apply the learnings in their daily lives. The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks and a pledge by students to adopt healthy study habits and reduce distractions.
