Senior Secondary Model School, Punjabi University, Patiala

The two-day 47th Athletic Meet and Annual Prize Distribution Function was organised at the school. The meet was inaugurated by Director, Sports, Dr Ajeeta, Director, MMTTC, Dr Raman Maini, Senior Medical Officer, Dr Ragina Maini and Chief Security Officer of the university Capt Gurtej Singh. School in-charge Satvir Singh Gill welcomed the guests. The chief guests unfurled the flag which was followed with an oath-taking ceremony. Director, Sports, Dr Ajeeta declared the athletic meet open. Students attired in colourful uniforms of their respective houses presented a march past. The visiting dignitaries expressed great happiness in seeing the enthusiasm among students for sports. Along with academics, the message was given to the students to participate in extra-curricular activities also. On this occasion, PA to Registrar Parminder Singh, Balwinder Singh and PTA president Kashmir Singh were present with the whole staff of the school.
