A session on ‘Consumer awareness and protection’ was organised at the school by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Chandigarh, for classes XI and XII with a focus on safe banking habits, safe digital banking, cybercrime and frauds, modus operandi of fraudsters, familiarisation with the helplines and grievance redress mechanism, etc. The session was graced by Anuradha Sahu, Deputy General Manager, RBI, and officials of Consumer Awareness and Protection Cell (CEPC), RBI, Chandigarh. The initiative aimed to raise students’ awareness of Internet frauds that target individuals’ finances. The event was beautifully executed and meticulously arranged, ensuring a comprehensive and knowledgeable programme for all participants.
