The seventh Junior Athletic Meet was organised at State Public School, Shahkot. Managing Director of the Group of State Public Schools Anmol Singh and Tanasha presided over the event as the chief guests. The guest of the honour was Prabhdeep Kaur. The beautiful event started with lighting of lamp. Students recited a shabad, ‘Deh Shiva var mohe ehe’, which was followed by a group song which was sung by Class II-A students. Beautiful poems were recited by students of kindergarten, Class I and Class II. A charm was added to the event with a wonderful solo performance by Peehu Arora, who is the winner of all-India level TV dancing reality show ‘Kisme Kitna Hai dum’. Students participated in various races like sack race, back race, ball race, lemon race, zig-zag race, hurdle race, pack-the-bag race, hanging socks race, make tower race, frog race, balance race, pick-and-run race, balloon race, ready-to-school race and other races. Anmol Singh, Tanasha, Principal Kanwar Neel Kamal and the teachers felicitated the proud winners with medals.
