Shaurya wins chess tournament


Shaurya, a Class V student of Sanskriti KMV School, Jalandhar, bagged the first position in the first RRCMA Open Rapid Chess Tournament held recently at Sirhind. He competed in the state-level completion in which more than 150 students from all over Punjab participated. Shaurya was awarded with a medal, certificate and cash prize of Rs 15,000. Principal Rachna Monga congratulated Shaurya, his parents and the sports department of the school for the achievement.
