Shemford School, Barara, hosted a 'Best Out of Waste' competition for students of classes VI to VIII, focusing on creativity and environmental awareness. Participants created artworks and functional items using plastic bottles, old newspapers, cardboard, CDs and other recyclable materials. The main objective was to raise awareness about environmental protection and waste reduction among students. Judges for the event were Dr Indu Vij, Principal of SMS College, Barara, and school teacher Sumit. Winners were as follows: First place: Abhijot Singh (Class VIII) and Mansirat (Class VI); second place: Aradhya Jain (Class VIII) and Bhavya (Class VII); third place: Nupur (Class VIII) and Bhavana (Class VI); consolation prizes: Kayna and Virendra (Class VI).
