The school organised a seminar on ‘Health and Nutrition’ with collaboration of the Rotary Classic, Chandigarh. Dr Ramneek Sharma, president of the Rotary Classic, Chandigarh, encouraged students to embrace the Rotary motto of ‘Service Above Self’. Dr Col RK Sharma, former Associate Professor of Surgery, educated the young audience about the importance of a balanced diet, highlighting the role of essential nutrients like carbohydrates, proteins, fats, minerals, and vitamins in maintaining a healthy body and strong immune system. Students were also informed about the importance of the fruits and vegetables one by one. School Principal Parneet Sohal motivated the students to adopt healthy eating habits along with outdoor games to stay fit. The session concluded with an engaging question-and-answer segment, where students’ queries were addressed, and was attended by Principal Sohal and Coordinator Harjot.
