The Punjab Police, Rupnagar district, initiated the ‘Saanjh Jagriti’ Programme at the school. The awareness campaign aimed to educate students about child safety and protection. Head Constables Harjinder Kaur and Narinder Kaur engaged students from Nursery to Class V in an interactive session, focusing on ‘Good touch and bad touch’. The session emphasised recognising and reporting inappropriate touching by anyone other than parents or authorised caregivers. The campaign also highlighted the dangers of accepting eatables from strangers and shared real-life incidents of crimes against children, stressing the importance of vigilance and responsible behaviour.
