Students of classes VI to IX showcased their innovative science projects and creative ideas at Vigyanotsav 2024-25. This science exhibition, organised by Pehchaan Ek Safar, an NGO run by IIT-Ropar students, provided a unique platform for students to demonstrate their scientific prowess. The school’s students presented impressive working models based on various themes. Class VIII students Gurshaan Singh, Aadarsh and Manmeet Singh displayed their projects ‘Smart glasses for blind persons’ (using ultrasonic sensor) and a ‘Landmine Detector’ (using Arduino and ultrasonic sensor), earning the school a commendable second position in the Group-I Category (classes VI to VIII). This achievement not only showcased our students’ scientific knowledge but also their critical thinking, problem-solving and innovation skills.
