The school marked International Yoga Day with immense enthusiasm and unity, bringing together students, parents, teachers, and staff in a collective celebration of health and mindfulness. The event, on the school premises, witnessed the active participation of over 50 individuals, all committed to embracing yoga as a way of life. The programme began with a motivational welcome speech in Hindi by Lovepreet, who highlighted the significance of International Yoga Day and the transformative power of yoga in daily life. This was followed by a captivating yoga session conducted by Priyanka and Amit, who led the audience through 15 asanas, breathing techniques, and meditation practices. The session was further enriched by Gurdeep and Navjot, who provided informative commentary on the health benefits of each asana from backstage. The tranquil morning setting created the perfect ambiance for participants to connect with their inner selves and experience the calming essence of yoga. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Academic Director Ravneet Berry and Principal Charanpreet Kaur. In her address, Ravneet Berry emphasised, “We are proud to celebrate International Yoga Day with such dedication. Yoga is an integral part of our school’s philosophy, and we will now be incorporating weekly yoga sessions into our curriculum to promote long-term physical and emotional wellness among our students.”
