The kindergarten wing of the school celebrated Janmashtami. The tiny tots came dressed up as Radha and Krishna and a special assembly was organised wherein the students presented songs, dance performances and a short role-play. The tiny tots began the celebrations with the recitation of a ‘bhajan’, followed by dancing to the tune of songs like ‘Mayia Yashoda’. The life story of Lord Krishna was shown to the students through a presentation prepared by Ranju. Principal Harjeet Kaur appreciated the efforts of the students and encouraged them to stay attached to their traditions and culture. To make the day special and memorable, students engaged in various activities like filling colours in ‘handi’, flute, etc.
