Shishu Niketan Public School, Sector 66, Mohali

The school playground was abuzz with excitement and energy as the Class I and II students gathered for their Sports Meet. The event saw 100 per cent participation of students, who showcased their athletic prowess and talent. The meet kicked off with a colourful march past, followed by releasing of balloons by the Director and Principal of the school. It was followed by well synchronised mass PT. The events that followed included 50m sprint, hurdle race, sack race and relay race of boys and girls. Students also performed drills like fan, flower, ribbon and ‘pom pom’ dance. The students displayed remarkable skill and determination, cheered on by their proud parents and teachers. The event concluded with a medal ceremony where the winners were awarded with medals and certificates. It was followed by a closing ceremony that left everyone in high spirits.
